Geomedia is the suite of software components in Intergraph Corporation\'s geographic information system (GIS). It is developed as client software specifically for the Microsoft Windows environment. GeoMedia is currently in version 6.1.

The core technology of GeoMedia makes it possible to simultaneously read data directly from multiple GIS data sources which includes:

* Shape files
* ESRI Coverage
* ESRI SDE (Via FME Plug in for GeoMedia)
* Autodesk
* Bentley
* Oracle Spatial
* Map Info.
